The (Run) Diaries

Let’s face it: running can get a little monotonous at times. This is why I decided to start my new series, The Run Diaries, where I essentially run around with a camera, snapping photos of interesting things I see along the way. I got so into it that I didn’t even feel tired by the end of my run! These photos were taken on a 10km jaunt through downtown Toronto, which is a pretty interesting place if you haven’t been. Recognize any of these spots? How do you spice up your longer runs?

Selfie taken at the start of the run – looking pumped!

So funny, I was thinking of doing this yesterday! Except in Hamilton, where the photo ops are less interesting and more depressing. Very cool Nikki!

So what I’m seeing is you started on Bloor, East of Yonge, ran down Bloor til Bathurst, turned left on Bathurst til you hit College, made a left on College until you got to Augusta, weaved through Kensington til Dundas, down Dundas to Spadina, went down Spadina to King, turned left on King until at least past University… because that’s where I lose your position :P

*has lived near every single one of these locations*

Pretty much! I actually started on Church but my photos from there weren’t very good (aside from the Vespa!) after that I went West on Bloor, down a side street just past Bathurst, onto College and through Kensington like you said, and then onto King until Victoria (and finally through the Ryerson campus!)
